The poverty stricken people of India have always been haunting her. She became restless and plunged in to social service at a very young age. A quality that she has inherited from her Naani, who instilled in her a deep civic sense and encouraged her to help those less fortunate.
Dr. Saroj Bajaj was also inspired by her father-in-law Late Sri Vrindavandas Bajaj, who was a freedom fighter & Co-founder of Congress party at Bhopal along with Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma (Former President of India). She has been a synonym of strength & determination has dedicated her entire life for the social cause.
Besides her concern for the society, she has also proven herself as an excellent home maker.
Her husband Sri Vraj Bhushan Bajaj is Managing Director of Saroj Exports (P) Ltd., Hyderabad. They are blessed with three children who have enhanced the success and glory of their parents.
Daughter Smt. Archana Maheshwari is associated with Schoolcraft College at Michigan as Professor of English. She is also the Chairperson of Department of English.
Elder son Sri Anurag Bajaj is Managing Director of Marimba Auto, Michigan. It manufactures auto parts and is OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) for many leading US Car makers.
Youngest son Sri Parag Bajaj is the Senior Purchasing Manager for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa – Ford Motors
